Forged reducing tees, also known as pull tees, are manufactured by drawing a spigot from the parent pipe wall. This provides multiple benefits for many installations. This is a much better solution to saddle fusion or socket fusion, as it provides a smooth size transition with an internal radius, providing much better flow and wear with slurry and sewage. Reducing outlets can also be pulled up to 70% of the mainline pipe, for example, a 560mm spigot is the maximum size that can be drawn from an 800mm pipe.
Kekendo Africa Poly FRT range will deliver upfront cost and labour savings with no need to use equal tees and multiple reducers 7 welds. Forged reducing tees with tee reductions up to 50% of the mainline pipe can be fully rated. Huge size range from 200mm up to 1200mm mainline with 800mm branch or all the way down to 63mm Flexibility and choice of wall thickness, from SDR21, SDR17, SDR13.6, SDR11, SDR9 and SDR 7.4 APS can also custom manufacture pulled tees with multiple spigots, such as a reducing cross piece of a double tee, different branch sizes are also possible.
